Board Members visit Swansea Foyer
Members of our board took the opportunity to visit our Swansea Foyer project in Swansea on Monday 2nd July.
Opened in 1997 as the first Foyer in Wales, Swansea Foyer on Alexandra Road in Swansea is one of five Foyer schemes that we operate across Wales.
It provides accommodation for 34 young people aged between 16 and 25 who are disadvantaged and at risk of homelessness to live and learn new skills in order to assist them with secure permanent employment.
Board members spoke with the young people about their experiences, including Keifer one of our residents at Clarewood Neath Foyer who was one of the Olympic torch bearers as it passed through Britton Ferry on its tour of the UK.
