Cwrt San Mihangel residents welcomed at coffee morning
Residents of our new development, Cwrt San Mihangel in Manselton, have been warmly welcomed into the community at a coffee morning held in St Michael and All Angels Church.
The residents have moved into apartments built in the Church grounds on the site of the former tin hut and hall, while the proceeds from the sale of the land have enabled improvements to the community facilities within the Church; two additional rooms now allow more activities to take place at the same time and the existing Church hall now has better equipped kitchen and toilet facilities.
The new residents met members of St. Michael’s congregation along with Vicar Reverend Jonathan Davies, Chair of The Gwalia Board of Management Right Reverend Anthony Pierce, Board Member Venerable Randolph Thomas and Gwalia Chief Executive Professor Michael Williams. The members of the Church community were also invited to take a closer look at the new homes and given a guided tour.
On the morning, £295 was also raised for church funds.
