Welsh Government passes Gwalia's financial viability

Welsh Government passes Gwalia's financial viability

Welsh Government logoThe Welsh Government has reassessed its Financial Viability Judgement on Gwalia and we are pleased to announce that for the third year running, we have recieved a judgement of “Pass” which is the highest possible level, reflecting the Government’s satisfaction that the group has adequate financial resources to meet current and future business and financial commitments.

The Financial Viability Judgements are part of an annual regulation process for housing associations in Wales. The Government’s positive opinion was based on a range of financial information and meetings held with the group’s finance management team.

Gwalia’s Chief Executive, Michael Williams commented, "Gwalia’s Board is pleased the Welsh Government has recognised Gwalia’s strong financial position for a third successive year."
