Your tenancy

New tenants getting their keys We would like to welcome you to your new home with Gwalia.

We want to make sure you get the most from your home and the services we provide.

There's lots of information available through this website or with your neighbourhood housing officer and you can also report a repair and view your rent account using our online portal 'My Gwalia'

The Tenancy Agreement that you sign is a legal contract. When you sign it, you agree to abide by its conditions and in turn, it protects your rights as a tenant.

If you are on a low income or benefits, you may be entitled to Housing Benefit to help you to pay your rent. To claim Housing Benefit you need to complete a Housing Benefit application form, which is provided by your local council Housing Benefit department.

Your Tenant information booklet (English, pdf, 3mb) will give you details about:

  • your tenancy
  • your home
  • the service we provide
